If you admire clean and classic journalism style, you probably became a fast fan of The Journalist theme. Well today The Journalist got a bit of a makeover, care of Lucian Marin, that might make you fall in love even more:

The bar that contains your tags, categories and post info is now more subtle, and has swapped positions with the comment count, bringing the attention to your brilliant content.
Your subtitle appears in a cute little word bubble in the upper right, and the header font has been freshened up as a sans serif.
Print geeks, enjoy. And don’t forget you’ll need to look under “T” for “The” under Design > Themes in your dashboard.
(UPDATE: Classic “The Journalist” is still available. It’s called The Journalist v1.3 under Design > Themes.)
thanks and ramzan greetings for wordpress
any chance there will be another revision that allows for a custom header?
Thank´s!!!
It’s very nice except it doesn’t allow for a custom header.
Ok!! Thanks… TBB
Very elegant, please go ahead with the developments of this template.
Thank you
thats great and good news keep on bloging
Sorry, but I had to revert to the original. Call me old-fashioned ….
Nice theme and a good performance
I put talkinator in a text widget, it has chat available with anyone. Because its minimum width is 250 pixels it does not fit into many themes sidebars.
But it does with the Journalist!
ps. apologies for last comment, I was viewing on an eeepc, so there was no margin on the left…
thank you…!!! I love you wordpress 🙂
It is possible to localize this version of the theme (as the older one)?
Maybe I’m too tired, or simply dumb, but I’ve not managed to obtain other than english
The theme is otherwise compelling but the lack of localization is a bit annoying
Good to have back again the Classic “The Journalist” available.
Thanks WP !
I love the new Journalist theme. It’s clean simple and straight to the point 😀
good but without header ?
i love it
It’s good
love the look and finish.
Been waiting for something similar for a while.
Clean, precise to the point. 😀

I’m thinking “no.” Don’t like the bubble, HATE HATE HATE the “comment” link right under the post title.
Thanks for leaving me the old one. PLEASE do not take it down.
change is constant! keep up the good work
I don’t know man. I kinda liked the old one. Maybe this will grow on me but the first impression is not so good…
…Very nice!
Thank you!
i liked the old journalist theme better.
I like the way it was before, like some peoplle said here before me
I can’t read the writing!
Heather
Nice looking. I agree, but it should be a new name.
Garland
ok
I love Journalist….! Still be my favourite theme. However, I think the new one looks better.
nice
wow
keep it up ……
This is the only one theme from the default themes gallery i find minimal and gorgeous as i like it. Its even better now indeed. So thanks Lucian 🙂
Aaand one more thing if someone can give me a tip how to remove borders from images where i dont want them It’ll be just great.
I being a indoor person looking out at the world, being very ascared of what is out there at times. I very seldom leave my home but read and see things from other peoples eyes. Seeing the sunset the way it was presented, I loved it. I am slowly comming out of my small world and trying to interact with others and it is very hard but something like this makes things beautiful and understanding that their is beauty.
Should leave templates as is and create new one’s!!
Hmmm i prefer Press Row… I like having a customisable header ~ only thing Press Row needs is 2 sidebars for widgets
When the next new theme is gonna come… I just love the new themes that you bring to us… thanks
Nice, Ilike: bravo and thanks!
Great. Use it. Can you allow for the Title of the blog to be in CAPS only.
You can type the title of your blog in all caps under Settings > General in your dashboard.
