In the coming week, the Support crew (seen among the lovely faces here) will be meeting in London to brainstorm new ways of providing you with the resources you need. While us Happiness Engineers are putting our heads together to churn out some big ideas, we’ll be closing our email support system.
Support will be unavailable from 10 a.m. EST on Friday, August 28 to 4 a.m. EST on Monday, September 7.
Of course, our team will still be monitoring servers and services while we’re out to keep you blogging smoothly and safely. In the meantime, we encourage you to read through the Support pages and make use of the forums, which are full of helpful users like you.
OK, go ahead
Wish You Luck
Wonderful.
I want to come work with your support team in London! Have a blast. You have the best support team ever. Fantastic group. Go to Harrods, the Tate, and Marks and Spencers.

We had some problems but they should be resolved now. Contact Support if you are still having problems.
I don’t have problem
enjoy ur trip…i jst have one problem , i m new and dont know how to put codes from google adsense , where to start and what to do. i have joined adsense and have the codes but dont know where to click so i can get advertise in my page 😦
I’m sorry, but we don’t allow AdSense on WordPress.com.
we’ll be okay
A bit late perhaps : but personally id like to be able to have my google-calendar displayed as a widget in the side column. I know wordpress don’t support Iframes for security reasons and there exists a solution using feed43 but still: id love a neater and more direct solution.
what is going on.. people on twitter r saying u gotta upgrade yr wordpress now, some sort of alert?
This is an issue for some self-hosted blogs that are using an outdated version of the software provided through WordPress.org. No upgrades are needed for your WordPress.com blog 🙂 To learn about the differences, see here.
I used to live in London and for a sunny day I highly recommend the Fountain Court of Somerset House on The Strand near Waterloo Bridge. It’s free to go into the Fountain Court – it’s a big courtyard of a historic building next to the Thames and has a load of jet fountains sunk into the ground that do a little dance every half hour (and a bigger dance three times a day). It’s fun to watch the kids running around in it and it’s good to walk through yourself – just don’t get caught out when the jets suddenly shoot up ten feet in the air! You can sit around at tables in the courtyard drinking coffee and relaxing. Very quiet, very peaceful, but right in the heart of London.
Enjoy! You all deserve a lovely holiday!
There was a report posted on Twitter that you guys were advising people to “UPGRADE” to aviod some “malware” that is going around. How are you suppose to “UPGRADE” your account when you don’t have any money? And I have NO IDEA if somehting has infected my wordpress.com blog?!
