Did you ever look at your stats chart and wonder which posts were published on a particular day? Now it’s easy to find out. Just move your mouse around the chart. (This only works for WordPress.com blogs right now.)

Did you ever wonder how many hits your home page gets? Now it’s listed along with your posts. There is also a comprehensive report page reachable by clicking the little icon on the right. (This works for WordPress.com blogs and self-hosted blogs using the Stats plug-in. No upgrade is required.)

I hope these little upgrades will help you prosper in the new year. 🙂
Thank you! These new features are much appreciated!
how nice, it’s really nice

This is great that you pointed this out to us newbies as it were. Many thank-yous!
Tres Bien. Merci!

Great job WordPress! You are making a BIG difference in the lives of the children at The Bali Orphanage. The orphanage is almost fully funded now and we will be adding another orphanage soon. Thanks!
161 views! Heck I’m just trying to break 50! But it’s still pretty cool.
Those are powerful tools!! Thank you so much, WordPress…
Sweet, I noticed them and wasnt sure if they were new! 🙂 I really love the home page info
HI, I really love part where the post published on a given day shows in the circle for the day on the graph–it helps to remind me what I posted so it’s easier to track the response.
I am, however, seriously frustrated with the new stat for the home page hits. What it does is to wipe out the true number of hits for the post that day. I no longer can tell exactly how many people came to my blog because they were drawn by that post, so it’s impossible to get an accurate count how many hits a particular post has gotten, reducing the numbers by a couple hundred or more. I follow the blogstats continually because they’ve helped me learn what my readership likes and doesn’t like.
I feel bad about posting a negative comment because WordPress has been the coolest thing that has happened to me in all the years I’ve been on the web. You are awesome! Donna Cunningham
Absolutely awesome. Thanks 🙂
Thanks for having this new feature! Luff wordpress!
A very useful addition to the tools of the WordPress blogger’s trade.
Now all I need is a tool to get more than 3 people per day looking at it!
I thank you and my Dog thanks you…
These stats are very helpful. Please keep the great tools coming!
Noticed the new features and loved them! Thanks 🙂

Thank very much…wordpress
Many thanks for continual useful improvements! 😉
looks great. thanks
This is awesome!
I knew this feature from before. it is great
When can we expect integration with Google Analytics? I’d like to see what countries my users are coming from and a whole host of other analytics.
@Ahmad: the stats dashboard displays the summary, right below the graph you’ll see “Top Posts & Pages” you’ll know which of your posts or pages are getting how many visitors
Thank you very much. I appreciate these new items a lot.
WordPress continues to impress.
Another thing to obsess about 🙂
All these are very good, but since i can’t embed any outsider analyzers I would really welcome some big big new feature.
tnx for the hard work
WordPress rocks as usual.
I love it too!! Thanks for all you do to help us use this resource of getting information out!!
Andy — These are both great developments. Can you clarify one thing? The page views that the home page is generating — were these counted in some other way in the past? Or were they just not counted at all before?
The Home page views were counted (and still are counted) in the total views stat before. Now they are counted in the total and shown separately in the Top Posts & Pages report.
Yeah, I noticed this and totally love it!
This is great. Merci beaucoup from Mt. Hood/Wy’east, Oregon.
are you ready to Rock..?!
Great additions. Thanks!
Love the new changes. Very helpful.
Very useful feature! I have also witnessed which blogs have generated the most viewers below the chart. Thank you!
I want to know WHO visits my page so I can visit them back. Is that a feature yet, do you know?
Well I know technology and I do not get a long. Where and when do I start seeing these wonderful stats?
You can see them right now in your WordPress.com Blog Stats pages.

Thank you for this! Happy new year!
