Sorry guys, but grey text on black just isn’t cool, when it comes to overall readability. Not every blog reader – or blogger for that matter – is a youngster with perfect visual acuity. White on black is fine, grey on black sucks.

Any chance of making the date configurable to the European format of dd/mm? I like this theme, but had it active on my blog for all of 90 seconds.

I just wish that this theme played nice with latex; as it is now, each latex formula gets surrounded by a grey box, which looks a bit weird, e.g., http://breadthfirst.wordpress.com/2010/01/24/mistake-bound-decision-lists/. Oh well. If I switch over for real, I’ll file a bugreport.

The Theme is awesome, but the RSS-Feed Icon doesn’t show up in the URL-Bar of the browser. This only seems to affect WordPress.com-Users, in the demo (http://www.mono-lab.net/demo1/) the icon shows up correctly.

I really like this theme. One question though. It doesn’t show my blogroll on the sidebar. Is there a simple option I have missed? Or is this simply not possible with this theme?

The essential thing for me is good clear print. Clarity is more important than looks. Straining to read or find things is not good. I only visit other blogs that are easy on the eye. The best thing about wordpress is variety to achieve what you want from your blog. You certainly offer variety.

But there’s a pretty serious problem: RSS feeds don’t show up for my wp.com blogs. I have tried jiggling things, carefully trying the theme options, enabling and disabling various widgets, but I cannot get the RSS feed to actually work.
Since I have seen wordpress blogs elsewhere besides wp.com that seem to have a working feed in monochrome, it seems there’s a small chance this is just on the wp.com installation.
…what’s a blog without a feed?

There’s no doubt this is a cool theme – but at least some people are still have problems with the RSS feed; like, there isn’t one.
How many Monochrome users are NOT getting an RSS feed? And can we try to figure out what it’s problem is?
