This month we passed an impressive milestone: 200,000,000 posts have been published on WordPress.com.
Does this number surprise us? Not at all. Because we’ve long known that you — our users — have an infinite amount of things to share with the world. From posts about your struggles with life and death, your favorite hobbies or your simple yet touching thoughts of the day, you are who we have to thank for helping us become the success we are today.

David W. Boles@ Just a guess: The average blog post should be around 200 words,which would make the total words ~40,000,000,000 words. In other words, a *lot* of writing.

200,000,000 Posts…It’s already scale of big cosmos! Congrats, WordPress!
This is only one drop in the immense Internet ocean. This is a new ocean in human history.
In the past, we had the Holy Books as an ocean, the human soul as an ocean, nature as an ocean.
Our virtual world is truly the combination of all other oceans by the human mind.
Now, with the pride of this great invention, should we learn the lesson of mature humility or keeping on boasting with our childish discoveries? Should we cooperate to build the humanity oneness, in learning, loving, creating, to reach higher summit of rationality; or should we blindly struggle against ourselves in the outdated fronts of creationism, atheism, atomism, materialism, capitalism, and all sorts of other funny ism’s?
Perhaps, each individual should learn with his own eyes and to answer all questions with his own mind, in order that he can advance along with all other individuals, like the drops of the ocean which exist together eternally as an unseparable unit.
You’re right – we have a lot to share, and you give us the perfect tool! I love WordPress!

200,000,000 is a BIG figure! Almost 350 of them are mine. I know some bloggers who manage to post some 2,000 or 3,000 posts in just six months but most of them are just coy-paste things so I always wonder how few of us are really into this creative stuff of shaking our brains and bringing out unique class content.

WordPress’ is very easy for me to use. I tried other blogsites but they are just now write-able for me. I’ve been blogging with wordpress for more than a year now and I don’t have any plans stopping! 🙂
