I love your theme. This is exactly what I wanted my theme to look like. I also would like a side bar and it looks like the theme allows for it. I read a little further on your blog post, but was not able to figure out how to get the sidebar to appear.

This is an excellent structure for blogs that feature a lot of photos or graphics. I haven’t gotten that far with my blog to use it yet, and how does one take photos of the learning and/or writing process when one is no longer teaching? But, since I just got a new DSLR with four new lenses, maybe I’ll figure something out and switch to your theme. It is really beautiful, and from what I saw of the settings screen Gazzette is easy to use. Best wishes for much success with it!
This really looks neat and just what I think would work for me. Alas, I gave up on it. Couldn’t make it work; different browser showed it differently. Text formatting did not work. Maybe after some more tweaks …

Using it right now in my Spanish entertainment news blog, it seems like it fits its purpose so far.
It’s a lovely theme, but the “stutter” in the way the theme renders gives me pause.
On the front page, the theme loads and renders the non-featured articles first, then “pops” in the featured articles and shifts the page down. On single pages, the article renders a banner in the content area, then a full-width banner appears, shifting the content, and the first banner vanishes.
I suppose the theme is coded to handle these things (the featured posts area, the single post thumbnail) through JS that’s loaded at the end, which results in the browser doing one thing, changing its mind, and “stuttering.” And I suspect there’s probably nothing that can be done about that.
Really Nice! Kind of new to changing themes, which means I have never done it before. What happens when I switch from Chateau to Gazette? Any special considerations I need to keep in mind? Thanks!
