You’ll need to set featured images for your posts. This page tells you how.
I don’t see a download link for self-hosted blogs. Will a link be available or will it be available on wordpress.org soon?
You can download the theme from WordPress.com right now! When you’re logged in to WordPress.com, you will see a ‘Download Revelar’ link at the bottom of the right-hand column on the theme’s showcase page: https://wordpress.com/themes/revelar
The theme will be submitted to the WordPress.org repository, and will be available there once it’s approved.

I’m loving this new theme!! I just worked on my blog earlier to set this theme and it’s amazing!! My old theme was good but this theme seperates pictures meaning giving it space and its not collaborated together with pictures like my old theme, so it’s worth it!!
