Seriously? Is it 1st of April already? I have the feeling this will open a whole new rabbit hole for me. Which is code for: Awesome!
This is great feature. I wish I would have known about it 2 weeks ago when I paid for a Premium theme, I could have put just about the same money into getting Premium sooner and had the same website but better features. Oh well. Too late for me.
Hi Jon!
Good news: Your purchase can be canceled within 30 days. So as long as it’s still within that period, you can get a refund and buy a Premium plan. For more information, see our refunds policy.
Thanks, David!
Thank you. I’m raising a rather good glass of wine to you as I type ;0)
This is really great! I’ve been thinking about switching to Premium, but was unsure. Now it’s a DEFINITE! Thank you so much!
Nice to know it. By now I have a personal plan but in a future I will change a premium but step by step.
I just purchased yesterday a premium plan! But its fine because wp has this refund policy! ♥️ good to hear by the way 👍
Thanks so much for this awesome addition. Decisions, decisions! 😀
When will the Twenty Seventeen them be available? (Premium or not)
Very soon. 🙂
Great I just purchase one this past weekend, so we can refund? WOW! Thank you!
Holy Cow! This puts the bang in the premium buck. Plus I got the theme I always wanted. Thank you!!!
When will the new themes be available – I see the same range of themes I’ve had access to as a premium member for at least a year, but nothing new.
Hi!
We launch new themes on a regular basis. You can see all the premium themes by visiting this page.
Thank you! This makes WP.com Premium Plan a great value. ❤
It looks like you’re not quite telling us everything. Is this taking away some benefits? It looks like a whole new configuration of charging to me.
Hi Kerry!
No features were removed. This adds access to more than 200 premium themes if you have the Premium plan. Paying for plans still works the same way it did before.
Oops. My error sorry.
I currently have the free WP site, but now considering the personal or premium plan. How easy is it to change over??
Hi Sandra!
It’s easy. Pick a plan and purchase. Keep in mind we have a 30-day refund policy, so you could try either plan for a few weeks and change it if it’s not working for you. You can read more on our refund policy here.
Great! How about the themes that support WordAds?
Hi!
You can find themes that support WordAds here. We add more regularly.
Thanks! ٩(◕‿◕。)۶
I realized I gave you the wrong information. Sorry about that! All themes support WordAds. That list are the ones that support more than the one or two standard ad slots.
Is that a new info? I tried using a few themes before Edin and there were prompts saying I had to change them for they don’t support WordAds.
It’s not new information, but it’s important to note: all themes display WordAds at the bottom of single posts. But they won’t support all ad positions. Which is why you received those prompts.
It’s clear to me now. Thanks for your response!
I have a premium plan though currently use a free theme. I am now beginning to look at some of the premium themes that are available. In the past I was able to try out a theme without saving it. Now it looks like there is only the Activate Now option, which then saves automatically. Is there anyway to test out a new theme (with my current content) like there used to be?
Hello!
That’s still available.
1. Visit here:
https://wordpress.com/design/yoursite.wordpress.com(make sure you change the URL to your own)2. Click the toggle button on a theme you want to try: ( … )
3. Click Try & Customize
Have fun!
Great! thanks!
Good Morning David! The Themes are really Good. My Blog is on a Standard Plan, i will definitely look for implementing Premium Plan.
I’m so excited! I noticed it yesterday and I thought it was a glitch!
Whhoooaaaa – that’s amazing news – but so much choice!! Decisions decisions decisions… thanks WP!!
Thats great news. I’m a new blogger I plan to upgrade one day that opens up a lot more choices thanks
I notice that most of these ‘Themes’ appear to have a price tag, does that apply to Premium users or is that for the non Premium users?
I’ve been a premium user for some years now and like to change themes now and then, so I can’t see much sense in paying for something, which may well bore me, after a few months.
Hi there!
In some areas, themes do list price tags if your site isn’t selected. But if you visit the theme showcase, and select a site with a Premium plan, none of the premium themes will have prices. You can try and activate any of them.
I know the feeling! I like to switch themes often too! 🙂
Thanks David 🙂 🐻
I have looked everywhere but NOWHERE does it tell me how much Premium Plan costs. I am not willing to click the Buy Now button without knowing how much I am letting myself in for.
Hi Valerie!
It’s $99 a year.
You can find the price in a few places:
On our pricing page.
Or on the plans page, which you can get to clicking My Sites and then Plan.
This is beyond terrific! Thank you!
Wonderful news. I have two blogs both premium plans. Thank you for the information 🙂
Ahhhh, feel like some serious time wasting may be coming up on my part 🙂
How can I pick just one!? 😉
Wow, Gema is very beautiful wordpress theme. I love this.
That sounds fantastic! Thanks!
Certainly the Premium plan gives more value to most bloggers, instead of going with one theme. WordPress themes are wonderful and more user-friendly. This was great news to all.
How do I write awesome in 780 sized font?
So happy about this! Thanks!
