You created your website for a reason. Whether it’s showing off your art, passing on family recipes, or selling boutique high-performance yo-yos. (That may or may not be Doc Pop’s example.) You created your website to reach an audience and to communicate directly with that audience.
Wouldn’t it be great if there was an easier way for you to connect with them and make it easier for them to follow you and engage with your content online? In this final episode of the Fediverse Files, Doc Pop walks you through how to connect your WordPress site to the Fediverse using ActivityPub.

I do not have a Business or Commerce site – just my own personal blog.
So no way to link that to Mastodon eh?
Hi!
To verify your website/blog with Mastodon, you can add a link to your Mastodon profile somewhere on your blog. Next, add a link to your personal blog on your Mastodon profile. Basically, the two sites (your blog and Mastodon profile) need to link to each other.
You can use the Social Icons block to add a link to your Mastodon profile and place it on your blog’s footer area. The important thing to keep in mind is that the link you add to your blog should have the `rel=”me”` attribute on it. You can check the “Here’s how” section on Mastodon verification page to learn more.
Feel free to contact support for help with adding the link!
The ActivityPub feature works on every plan!
