almost no symbols are showing

Hello,
many but not all symbols are missing. I can’t find the reason why and I tried many workarounds.
The star rating in the woocommerce store shows only sssssss
the FAQ page only shows boxes and the same on the event page (modern events plugin), where I only get boxes. Only the symbols I put in after with font awesome plugin are showing. But symbols from the same plugin are shown on the event overview page.
I tried switching to a normal theme and disabling all the unecessary plugins but nothing changed. I tried overrating different things via css but it doesn’t work either.
What can I try next?Thanks for your help!
