Blogger Import

Dear Madames, Dear Sirs
I am thinking of transferring my Blogspot Blog to WordPress Blog. For final decision I want to try using WordPress a little bit and startet with the import of the datas of Blogger. I exported now several time my Blogger content to an .xml file (11.3 MB) and tried to import several time in WordPress.
A certain time after starting the import the webpage will be gone and I have to reload the page. Then on top of the import page is written unvalid dateitype, please load a valid Blogger-Export file.
At the End of the page is written ‚Your file has been uploaded successfully. We will start immediately with working on your import.‘
What is now correct? Did it work or not and if not, how can I solve it to import my content from Blogger?

Hi there, sorry, I solved it by myself, just changed the browser. It seems that WordPress and Blogger don’t like Google Chrome.
