Can’t access my old blog

    Hello,
    I wrote the blog miriamsailer.wordpress.com a couple of years ago and then let it fall dormant.
    I recently tried to log in again, only to find out that I can’t.
    Either I’ve used the wrong e-mail-adress (possible, but not very likely) or my account was deleted.

    So I can’t get into the account and I don’t know which username or email is connected to it. I’ve tried the usual suspects, nothing worked.

    Sadly, I also don’t have any mails from the old blog anymore, so no papertrail except that I have still acess to the email that is in plain text in the blog under ‚Kontakt‘.

    I’ve tried emailing support, they pointed me here.
    Anything I can do, if I want to log in again? Or just to get the blog taken down?

    Hallo Miriam, hier ist das Anwenderforum, von WP liest hier niemand mit.
    Wir können dir leider nicht helfen, es gibt auch nur diesen Infotext: https://wordpress.com/de/support/kontowiederherstellung/

    Gratisblogs bekommen zwar keinen Support, aber manchmal erbarmt sich jemand von WP. Schreib in Englisch an help @ wordpress.com.

    Hallo Liegeradler,

    danke für die Antwort. Inzwischen weiß ich immerhin meinen Nutzernamen und mein altes Passwort wieder, allerdings verlangt WordPress beim Login sofort, dass ich das PW zurücksetze (aus Sicherheitsgründen…?) und wenn ich den Link dafür anfordere, dann landet der wo auch immer, auf jeden Fall aber nicht in einer mir bekannten Mailadresse :'(

    ich werds mal mit Deinem Tip versuchen.
