Changing Picture and background for smaller screen sizes

  Dear WordPress Community,

  I currently working on a website using Neve Theme and Gutenburg Editor.

  For a cover block with image I want to use a different image for smaller viewports, lets say max-width 480px. How can I do this with standard css or isnt this possible?

  Further I want to change the background for one block from background-size:cover to background-repeat:repeat for smaller screens. When applying a class to the cover div it doesnt work when making the screen narrower. Allthough the changes show up in the inspector the effect hasnt been applied.

  Does anybody know how to fix this?
