deleted blog still publically acessible?

    Dear all, I just deleted my blog but when I access my blog through google I still find it and find the archived content. I am aware that this is due to the fact that I have not deleted my Cache. It still leaves me wondering how can the blog be deleted entirely so that also the archived version is no longer found in google and no longer accessible by other people who have not deleted their cache?
