Deleting revisions of published blog posts

  Hi,

  when I work on blog posts, every time I savea text, WordPress creates a new revision, up to 25 per post. Normally, these aren’t really usable versions of the blog post but mere stages of putting the text together. Once a post is published I don’t need all these revisions, and I guess they bloat the backup files unnecessarily.

  Is it possible to delete these revisions of the blogposts already published? And being able to delete revisions when publishing would be great, too!

  My blog, gnadlib.wordpress.com, is hosted on wordpress.com under the free plan, so I can’t use plug-ins.

  Nein das kannst du nicht abstellen, das ist ein Feature von WordPress. Es nimmt dir auch keinen Speicherplatz weg falls sich das sorgt.

  Es werden auch nur die letzten 25 Revisionen gespeichert; alles andere wird automatisch gelöscht.

  Schade, hatte ich aber befürchtet. Naja, immerhin kann man die Liste der Revisionen einklappen, dann nimmt die nur eine Zeile auf dem UI weg statt einer Bildschirmhöhe…
