downsize pictures

  hi,

  does wordpress automatically downsize pictures? the pictures I uploaded all went von several MB to about 20KB without me doing anything.

  Der Blog bei dem ich Hilfe benötige heißt (nur für angemeldete Benutzer sichtbar).
