How to change the parent of a comment

It happens all too often that people do not press “Answer” under the comment they are answering to or press “Answer” under the wrong post. As a result, the comment nesting is wrong, which is not only ugly, but also confusing for readers. Whenever this problem occurs, I want to move the respective comment to its correct position. How can I do this? Apparently, the comment editing facility does not allow me to change the comment’s position in the discussion tree.
I have tried to just post the respective comment myself at the correct position and change its author afterwards. However, this does not work as expected. While the new author name is shown afterwards, the avatar is still mine and it is still written that the author of the article (that is, me) has posted the comment.
Once I asked the author of an incorrectly placed comment to repost his comment at the correct position, after which I would delete the old version. When trying, however, the comment author got a message that told him that he cannot post the same comment twice. I deleted the original comment and asked him to try again, but he told me that it still did not work for some reason.
It is hard for me to believe that there is not any solution for the problem of misplaced comments. This is such a common issue that I thought there must be some way to fix it. I would very much appreciate any help.

Naja es gibt wohl keine Lösung dafür weil das ja eigentlich kein Problem darstellt. Wie kann man einen Kommentar unter einem falschen Beitrag posten? Haben deine User direkt mehrere Beiträge auf und warum ;) ??
Von daher gibt es dafür auch keine technische Lösung.
