How to delete a wordpress.com website when I already deleted my connected mail account?

I am currently seeking a helpful hand.
Four years ago I tried to make my own website using wordpress.com while connecting an gmail adress which I also used as a junk mail account. Being too overwhelmed by wordpress and with lasting confusion about how to start a blog properly, I stopped working on my old website and pretty much forgot about it. Later on, due to hacking of my mail account and recieving loads of spam mails, I deleted my gmail account.
But I forgot that my old website still existed.
Now, I wanted to start again, using the same name as four years ago because that’s the name I pretty much identify with. That’s when I found my old website and it’s – yeah – not as good. It needs some fixes but I rather prefer to delete it completely and start all over again.
Is there any possibility to delete a wordpress.com website whilst not having the registered / connected gmail adress?
