Is test-installation possible?

  Good day!

  It seems that the free-version of WordPress is limited concearning some design-related-capabilities (I need more text-design-capabilities, coloured bars… blocks, animated text etc. )

  It is possible to get a test-installation of WordPress, maybe for 3 months for example, which offers more design-capabilities?

  Apart from this, do paid versions contain more design-possibilities?
