"MerkenMerken" is added at the end of the post

  We encounter a very strange issue. Sometimes the text „MerkenMerken“ is added at the end of a post after editing. Seems like this happens not always (can’t figure out when exactly).

  Even weirder is the fact, that the internet is full of this – just hit up a Google search using the keywords WordPress „MerkenMerken“ and you’ll find a multitude of sites experiencing the very same problem. E.g:

  How to fix this? FWIW: We are running WordPress v4.9.6
