Page Access not possible as mail hoster is insolvent

    Hi

    This is what it’s about:

    Many years ago I created a small page for my mother for her self-employment at https://berlinuebersetzungen.wordpress.com
    Now the account has been blocked for security reasons (perhaps she entered the password incorrectly too often).

    The problem is that the mail provider we used to register with WordPress is insolvent and the mail address is no longer available. I can therefore neither provide the activation link nor a back-up code to ‚prove ownership‘. We can no longer get hold of either.

    Since this can also have legal consequences (for example, if we have to change something because of the DSGVO and can’t get to the page), I would be happy to receive a solution suggestion on how we can get to the page again.

    I could offer to send one of my mother’s identity documents to wordpress and they match it with the data from the imprint.

    If necessary, we would have to set the page to private or delete it and rebuild it under a different domain.

    I would be happy if you have a solution for us or a support contact to someone who can help.
