Pay External Plugin Costs Extra?

    Hey there,

    we are planning to create a web application, where we store data of different format like text, pdf, video etc. For that we are looking for a powerful database plugin, and especially functionalities like adding fields by external users (with login functionality etc) and very importantly a good search engine, which is able to look for phrases also inside documents and in a customizable way in general.

    We have now read about Formidable Forms which seems to be a powerful forms and database plugin, and this in general raises two questions for us:

    1. WordPress states that the Formidable Plugin is free to use once we upgrade to Pro. Do we then have to pay for the plans of Formidable (https://formidableforms.com/pricing/) separately, or wont there be these costs for us as we are on a paid plan of wordpress?

    2. Does somebody have other suggestions on a good solution with wordpress for our problem?
