Problems with Search function in WordPress

This is my first question to support. I need help with an issue that has been bothering me for several months, and unfortunately, my technician hasn’t been able to solve it so far or is otherwise occupied, so no help can be expected from him.
I have a serious problem with the search function in WordPress. Unfortunately, I am not very technically skilled, so I am unable to solve the problem myself, even though I have been searching for a solution for quite some time.
I simply want the search function on the desktop version of my website to be displayed properly. However, at the moment, when I search for an article, multiple links to different variations of the offered article appear at the same time. I can’t find any way to change this setting.
Only the product image and the title of the respective product should be displayed, without all the variants. Additionally, the images of the respective articles are displayed far too large, which makes the appearance quite unappealing.
Ah, i did not translated the product now, so its in german, but it should make no difference to understand my problem, and i got this problem with every product
