Reader cannot comment on my blog/notifications

Good morning,

I have two different problems at the moment.
No.1.: A reader who frequently comments on my blog contacted me via email to tell me she cannot comment anymore. There is some kind of error and she is being told that it’s not possible to send the comment. She has tried several times, I don’t know if she is the only one or if there are more people with that problem – any ideas what that could be?

No.2.: It always looks as if I had new notifications (that orange dot beside the bell on the far right) but there are no unread informations. It’s not really a problem, just a little weird…any of you get that?

Hallo! Kann sie nur bei dir nicht kommentieren oder auch auf anderen Blogs? Dann könnte vielleicht ein Browser-Wechsel Aufschluss bringen.

Ansonsten kannst du den „Irrtum“ ja mal spezifizieren. Ich habe gerade bei dir kommentiert, an dir/deinem Blog liegt es also nicht.

Hi,

sie ist an sich keine WordPress-Userin, hat es also auf anderen Blogs noch nicht probiert. Ich weiß auch, dass man allgemein auf meinem Blog kommentieren kann – seit das Problem aufgetreten ist, habe ich schon mehrere Kommentare bekommen…
Ich werde ihr mal empfehlen, einen anderen Browser zu versuchen, es kommt mir nur sehr komisch vor, weil sie seit es meinen Blog gibt so gut wie jeden Beitrag kommentiert und es bisher immer geklappt hat…merkwürdige Geschichte.
Danke jedenfalls fürs Testen und ich melde mich wieder :D

Juhu, es funktioniert wieder! Der Tipp mit einem anderen Browser war eine großartige Idee – vielen, vielen Dank!
