Comments feature on free wordpress.com accounts

  I have a free wordpress.com blog account and its current ‘Comments’ feature does not comply with GDPR. When will it be done? If not, I’m afraid I’ll have to shut it down on May 25. Any other ideas to try to solve this issue? Thanks
