Dominio en media temple

Tengo mi dominio en Media Temple y una cuenta en WP premium. Realicé el mapeo de dominio y cambios de DNS.

Ahora al ir al blog aparece la leyenda «Forbidden You don’t have permission to access / on this server»

Tengo duda si es por tiempo en la actualización de DNS, si no es compatible con media temple o si realicé mal el proceso.

Espero me puedan ayudar. Gracias!

El blog con el que necesito ayuda es (visible solo para usuarios conectados).

No tienes que hacer cambios en los DNS sino en los «nameservers», para que apunten a WordPress.com:

Realicé lo siguiente:
MX consorciointeragencias.com mail handled by NS1.WORDPRESS.COM. with priority 10
MX consorciointeragencias.com mail handled by NS2.WORDPRESS.COM. with priority 10
MX consorciointeragencias.com mail handled by NS3.WORDPRESS.COM. with priority 10

Según la herramienta Domain Helper https://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/ pueden ocurrir dos cosas (puedes poner tu dominio en el recuadro de verificación para leerlo tú mismo):

a) It can take as long as 72 hours for DNS changes to become widely available. If you’re still not seeing your site loading at consorciointeragencias.com, please wait a few more hours, clear your browser cache, and try again.

b) Non-WordPress.com Nameservers
Although consorciointeragencias.com has been registered, it is not using WordPress.com nameservers. If your domain is mapped to a self-hosted site, then your configuration may be fine as currently set up. If you wish to host your site at WordPress.com, you will need to update your nameservers as outlined below.

We require that your name server configuration include only the following servers or their numeric equivalents:

NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
Your name servers are as follows:

NS1.MEDIATEMPLE.NET
NS2.MEDIATEMPLE.NET
If you have access to change the nameservers for this domain, please remove all nameservers not on the required list above.

No has cambiado los nameservers en el buen lugar. Lo tienes que cambiar en el panel de configuración de Media Temple. (Si no sabes como hacerlo, preguntalo a Media Temple.)

Luego, quita los registros MX que has puesto en el escritorio de WordPress.com, ya que son erróneos.

Bueno, es que eso yo lo daba por descontado, ya que había enlazado el documento donde se dice precisamente eso, sin margen de duda:

Step 3: Next, you will need to update your domain’s “name servers” to the following:

NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

You can usually change your domain’s name servers at your registrar’s website. The exact process for updating your domain’s name servers is different for each domain registrar

lo de los registros MX sirve para utilizar una dirección de correo que te provea tu registrador de dominio (Media Temple):

Step 2: There is one other thing to consider at this part of the process: Do you have pre-existing email on your domain – for example, “(correo electrónico visible solo para moderadores y personal)”? If so, when you change the name servers, that email will stop working. Click the Edit DNS link near the mapped domain and enter the Custom DNS records needed to keep your email functioning.

We recommend you prepare the relevant information in advance, before you start the domain mapping. You can check your existing settings at your registrar or if you are unsure please include the following paragraph when you contact your registrar:

Could you please provide me with the complete MX and/or other DNS records I will need to enter on WordPress.com’s end, so that my email on this domain will continue to function after my name servers have been updated?

We can help you correctly format and enter the records they give you on our end or you can create the MX records yourself via the Custom DNS interface.

Alternatively, you can map a subdomain to your WordPress.com site, which doesn’t require changing the name servers and will not affect any custom DNS records at your registrar.
