    Kun vastaan kommenttiin s-postin (gmail) kautta, ä:t ja ö:t muuttuvat kysymysmerkeiksi. Olisiko vika wp:ssä vai gmailin asetuksissa? Lähetin blogiystävän tekemän viestin Tukeen, mutta mukavaahan se olisi, jos joku osaisi selvällä suomella selittää.
    Tämä lähti Tukeen, itse en ymmärrä siitä mitään:
    The email comments seem to have a problem with characters which are outside of the US-ASCII character endocing i.e. out of numeral values 0-127.

    The problem is that http://krisuh.wordpress.com/ has a HTTP header

    Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8

    This is correct but the email comments are encoded in ISO-8859-1 (latin1) which is compatible with UTF-8 and US-ASCII only if one uses characters between 0-127.

    The problem is probably caused by configuration. Something, somewhere expects that it will never get anything but ISO-8859-1 encoded text as input.
