Fake e-mail from wordpress?

    Hi! I´ve got e-mail that I should verify my e-mail address for wordpress.com or ’ICANN requires that we temporalrily put your website on hold if you fail to verify your address.’. There´s a link I should click to do it..not even to log in to wordpress account.

    There´s few things that make me wonder is this a real e-mail from WordPress.com
    1. I got message to e-mail that is NOT my registered e-mail address in wordpress
    2. I´ve been using wordpress for years, but I get this e-mail first time – why now, why not many years ago?!
    3. I can´t find any information about this verification on my account in wordpress

    Is that e-mail really from wordpress or not?

    Hei,

    siis onko sinulla rekisteröity domain käytössä wp.comissa? Silloin tosiaan joutuu vahvistamaan mailiosoitteen (ICANN vaatii), ei varsinaisesti liity suoraan WordPressiin.
