¿Can I insert an image map tag that resizes?

  • Unknown's avatar

This is my blog buensalvaje.com, we have our cover on the landing page, we would like to be able to link certain areas of the image to the right article inside the blog.

I tryed using image map but the maps wont resize for small screens or mobile devices.

I tryed inserting an html table with the image cutted in pieces but a tbody tag is created by wordpress and messes the original html I post and the image looks cutted and out of place.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks in advance for your support

  • Possibly. This might be tricky since you want the image map to be responsive.

If you have the Custom Design upgrade (which I see that you do), I’m assuming you would need to attempt this by also editing the CSS since you won’t be able to do this with straight HTML code.

My best suggestion is to try a new post with some specific details in the CSS Customization forums to get more people your particular question.

Please let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll be happy to help.
