× is not an x

  Hi,

  I post technical issues. Recently I’ve found the lower case x’s are being transformed to ×?
  Is this due to my Theme? I like this one as it gives me the most space, however I definitely need to post ASCII characters and not weird Unicode.

  Note: During the editing the x is fine, only once posted does it become “wrong”. On my blog please check this line:
  This means I have to set my STATUSMSGEVENTS to 0×0000002064

  Ok,

  This only happens when I type 0x0 (an x surrounded by two zeros)
  A freestanding x is fine by itself or even 0x is fine but 0x0 breaks it.

  The workaround for me is to add tags around it.
I will likely do this later but what to leave the issue "AS-IS" for a bit if anyone knows how to fix it. My only issue with is that it breaks the uniform look of the page.
