  Hi,

  Some of the older themes, such as Twenty Fourteen, display a pages menu by default. The default menu includes a link to each published page. This menu can probably be hidden with CSS code, but another way to eliminate it would be to create a custom menu, and replace the default menu with the custom menu. You may leave the custom menu empty.
