  לפני כשנתיים עזרתי לאשתי בבניית אתר שבינתיים לא החליטה אם להעלותו. עכשיו אני מנסה (באותו המחשב) לבדוק פתיחת בלוג צילום ב-wordpress, אך האתר מתעקש לזהות אותי עם האתר של אשתי ואני מעניין להתנתק. עזרתכם!

  About two years ago, I helped my wife build a website that she hadn’t decided yet whether to upload it. Now I’m trying (on the same computer) to test opening a photography blog in wordpress, but the site insists on identifying me with my wife’s site and I’m interested in disconnecting. Your help!

  My wifes site is: edengrosz.wordpress.com
  I don”t have an URL yet because the interface automatically recognizes me as the above site.
  I would like a clean start with my own URL & profile.

  Hi there,

  It is possible to have multiple sites under a single account, so if you wish, you can start a new site at any time here: https://wordpress.com/start/

  The site you create via that setup process is completely separate from edengrosz.wordpress.com, but you will still use your robosz57 account to log into either site, and when you have more than one site there will be the option (in the upper left) to switch from one to the other easily. You do not need to sign in to each site individually since they will be under the same login you use now.

  Hi folks, hope you don’t mind me adding something here.

  I would like a clean start with my own URL & profile

  While you can open an additional site with its own URL under the same account as your wife, they will have the same profile and author display name. So, if your wife’s name appears on the line “Public display name” at https://wordpress.com/me, that name will also appear as the author on your site as well.

  If having your name appear as the author of your posts (if it is displayed on the theme you choose), then you might want to either change the Public display name to your name if she is not going to continue her site or consider opening your own account with a separate email address. Then you would have your own site and profile.
