”Change Gravatar“ feature does not work!

I want to change my gravatar. I went to my Account menu to Change Profile and I saw that square in the upper right hand corner. I clicked the ”Change my gravatar“ link and a window opened up but there was nothing in it. For a fraction of a second I saw those turning gears that indicate one will be able to browse one’s computer…… but just for a split second. I tried various way to get that turning gear to stay in the window, without success.
How can I change my Gravatar/Avatar?

The change gravatar thing has been a little iffy lately. Go directly to http://gravatar.com and upload it there would be my suggestion. If you are logged in here, gravatar will recognize that and you will automatically be logged in there, and just like here, there is a blue admin bar at the top. Click on “my account” and there is a selection there for uploading a gravatar.

Okay; I’m having the same problem – went to http:gravatar.com but it still isn’t showing on WordPress blog – any ideas?
I’ve tried changing within the site, cleared the cache and even deleted an extra email address. Still not showing —

It can take anywhere from 2 hours to a full day for a gravatar addition or change to work its way through all the wordpress servers. Normally it will only take from 2 to 4 hours though.
If you go back to Gravatar does your image show up there in your account page? If so, then it is winging its way through the system. Give it a few hours.

I did change my gravatar through their web site and it updated instantly, which is good. However, ya’ll really should fix this and if it’s not a priority, at least put in a message and a link to gravatar.com.
