↑ Table of Contents ↑ links don't work anymore
-
I don’t know who exactly is in charge of the support pages. Otherwise I would have addressed the problem over there. :)
It seems since the last update where the TOC (table of contents) was moved to the sidebar, the TOC links which jump back to the table of contents, have stopped working. Easy to test:
Open http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#managing-your-menus
Try clicking on that “↑ Table of Contents ↑” linkI guess it’s because the referenced “toc” ID has been changed to a class now. Changing it to the ID “toc-contents” might fix the issue.

The problem seems to have been fixed. Or are they still experimenting? May I suggest they add a top border to the topic list right beneath the TOC, in order to visually separate it from the TOC?
#toc + .categories { border-top: 1px solid #E5E5E5; } -
Hey Martin,
The links were fixed so they should be working correctly. Regarding the top border, we’ll definitely consider adding that. Currently, we’re using the shaded grey color to denote the TOC box.

Every other section of the sidebar (Support Home, Related, Hugs) is visually seperated from one another by a border except for TOC and Topics. Following this logic, I get the impression that TOC and topics are one section despite the gray color.
OK, it’s no big deal and in the end it’s only cosmetics but I thought I’d add my cents on this. :)
Cheers
Martin
