    If it’s a new domain, you won’t be able to transfer it yet. All new domains, no matter where you buy it, are subject to a 60-day transfer lock. This lock is mandated by ICANN and is something separate from the domain lock applied at your domain registrar. So you will not be able to transfer the domain to us until that 60-day period is over.

    If you want to use the domain with your WordPress.com site in the meantime, you can use the Domain Connection upgrade included in all our plans to point it here instead.
