  In cases where the domain cannot be transferred (e.g. 60-day transfer lock for newly-registered domains), you can connect it instead. Here’s how: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/

  Once you’ve transferred or connected your domain, you can then set it as your primary domain: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/#set-a-primary-address
