Hello,I recently received an invoice from Automattic Inc. with the following details:
• Invoice Number: JE89125378
• Amount: TWD 1,638
• Date: January 22, 2025However, I did not make this purchase or authorize this transaction. I checked my WordPress.com billing history and did not find any record of this charge.
Could someone please assist me in clarifying this issue? If this was sent in error, I would like to ensure it is canceled and no further charges are made.

I used my best judgement to figure out these details, but I am not entirely sure that these are correct as unfortunately, it wasn’t able to find a match.
- Transaction ID: JE89125378
- Name on Card: Will Chean
- Date Charged: January 22, 2025
- Last 4 Digits of Card: 9424
- Amount: TWD 1,638
To resolve this, I recommend the following steps:
- Check your bank statement – Your bank statement should be able to confirm where this charge originated and provide more details like Transaction ID.
- Review the Why was I charged? page – This page can help you determine if the charge is linked to any WordPress-related services, such as domain renewals or other subscriptions. You visit this page and fill the required details on your own.

I just checked your WordPress.com account and found that the 1,560 TWD payment was for the WordPress.com Personal plan purchase on your site, which has since been deleted. The amount has already been refunded, as you can see by clicking here.
However, you mentioned that the transaction took place on January 15, 2025. I can see the payment took place on December 29, 2024, and we refunded it on January 4, 2025. I wonder if the transaction you saw on January 15, 2025, is actually the refund.
Could you check with your bank to confirm if it was indeed the refund hitting your bank account and not a separate/second charge?
