But you will likely need to pay for hosting, or pay your own expenses to host it yourself:
– You can run your own servers at home, but you would have to pay for your dedicated connection, and the computers, and you’d have to know how to administer the servers and the site. This would be quite timely, and even the people I know who are 100% comfortable with all of that will typically choose to rent hosting anyway to simplify their lives.
– You can rent hosting from several providers out there who will take care of servers for you, but you would need to keep your software up to date and secured. You may need to administer your site’s SSL certificate as well.
– You can used managed hosting like our Business plan, which includes hosting and site maintenance and security, as well as direct support with paid plans. We have more information on the differences here:

Do note too, while WooCommerce itself is free, there is entire marketplace of plugins available for it. Some are free and some aren’t, so just be mindful that there will be some cost in setting up a site.
