  What kind of email will be sent before the renewal?

  Emails will be sent to the email address you provided as the registrant contact information, which may not be the same as the email address associated with your WordPress.com account.

  What kind of email will be sent before the renewal? How many days before the renewal? I am worried about clicking into phishing emails.

  You will get an email 30 days before domain expiration and you will get another email 7 days prior to the expiration date. You will also get an email 3 notification days after the domain expires.

  Are there any examples of renewal emails?

  You will also get domain expiry notifications on your Website Dashboard.

  Thanks for replying.
  I need an example email to see what those emails look like, a screenshot maybe? So that I won’t click at the phishing emails.

  All emails are coming from @wordpress.com. If you are not sure, you can check the source of your email.
