  If you have a domain you’ll need to do this as well.
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/transfer-a-domain-to-another-wordpress-com-account/

  All of these steps need to be done by the current account owner.

  Check the inbox of the email address your WordPress.com account is registered to. Open the email we’ve sent you and click the link it contains to finish the transfer.

  May I ask step 3, how long does it take to wait for the letter?

  We send the email the moment you confirm you want to transfer your site.

  Our logs show we’ve sent you several emails already. If you don’t see them in your inbox, please check Spam, and also the Social and Updates folders in Gmail.

  What is the username you are trying to transfer to?

  If that person is not a user on your site, please try adding them as an admin first, and then transfer:

  I have already added this user to the admin but still can’t transfer successfully.

  Where is the problem?

  I can see miamia6629 has been added to the site as an Editor. Could you try changing their user role to an Administrator and try transferring the site again?

  The role change can be made from My Sites > People. Click through onto their username and you should see the option to change the role.
