마크다운 커스텀 CSS 적용방법

  마크다운 블록에서 커스텀 CSS를 지정하고 싶은데 잘 안되네요. 정상적인 css 문법을 인식하지 않습니다. 가령 h6 {color:red;} 를 추가 css 영역에 적어놓으면 전 블럭에 h6 태그가 적용됩니다. 어떻게 해야 하나요?
