Hide WordPress.com URL and show only custom domain
-
I want to hide http://gavduff007.wordpress.com from all search engines and for people to only find my blog at it’s redirect address http://www.raisedbywolvesmusic.com – how do I do this??
Also I want each page to be like http://www.raisedbywolvesmusic.com/about or http://www.raisedbywolvesmusic.com/contact or http://www.raisedbywolvesmusic.com/XXXXwhatever
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

To change blog visibility go to > Settings > Reading. See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
IMPORTANT NOTE: Making and blog private, deleting blog content or even deleting a blog does not remove any indexed content from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months.

Many thanks Timethief. So I marked it as ‘ I would like my site to be private, visible only to users I choose’ – is that what you meant? You understand my objective here? I don’t want people to find my blog at gavduff007.wordpress.com, I want them to find it only at http://www.raisedbywolvesmusic.com
Also how do I go about changing each page so it is http://www.raisedbywolvesmusic.com/about or http://www.raisedbywolvesmusic.com/contact ? At the moment it is just raisedbywolvesmusic.com for whichever tab I hit…

Well, simply put that is not possible. To use an analogy the custom domain is only another address to the same building. If they look out the right window they’ll see the other street address written on the side of the building.
For search engines to register your new domain and rank it higher than your previous one, it has to have more incoming links to it than your old URL. This takes weeks or months. As well, your media files will ALWAYS have the url format of whatever.wordpress.com and there is nothing you can do about that.

When you say “hide” do you really mean domain mapping – in that visitors will only see the blog address as a version of ww.raisedbywolvesmusic.com?
Setting a blog to private keeps everyone out unless invited in – the name implies a music company – do you want people to know you as ww.raisedbywolvesmusic.com and be able to search on it?
If you are selling music of some sort – keeping everyone out does not make sense to me – seems you would want the blog open so people can search for your name but find ww.raisedbywolvesmusic.com –
that is domain mapping – and if you are using some sort of redirect from your registrar that is not the best either
A bit of clarification would help us –
PS – there is no “www” on names here
