  The only people who would know for sure are Staff and if you want to request this, you should contact them directly. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

  personal opinion/
  I suspect that because the +1 button uses javascript, we probably won’t see it here at least for a while, if at all. If it does appear, perhaps it will be incorporated into the current Sharing buttons. http://en.support.wordpress.com/sharing/

  The Like button works exactly the same way, doesn’t it?

  Also, if I’m going to encourage my readers to click a button, it’s going to be a SHARE button, to Facebook, Fark, Stumble, or Twitter.

  In case you missed it, the Google +1 button has indeed been added to our Sharing buttons and you can enable it through there.
