1 follower in reader profile for Message In Stanza

  When I search for Message In Stanza on the reader it says “1 follower.” I have 168. It says 168 followers on my stats.

  WordPress helped me recently switch my domain name https://messageinstanza.com/ to https://messageinstanza.wordpress.com. (But for some reason it shows as https://messageinstanzacom.wordpress.com when I go to switch sites. I don’t know why. :shrug:)

  But my old site https://messageinstanza.wordpress.com (Now what I want to be as https://messageinstanza.com/) has only 1 follower, instead of 168.

  No problem. I forgot I already emailed WordPress about this particular issue and I just got a response back. They said they are figuring out this bug isssue as we speak! But thank you for your help. 😀

  Hi there,

  It looks like there might a problem with your site’s feed in the Reader – I tried following your site to see if that doesn’t update the follower count, but then all the posts disappeared from the feed. I reprocessed your site’s feed so the posts are now back, but it’s gone back to showing the incorrect follower count.

  I’ve asked the developers from our Reader team to take a look at this. I’ll let you know what they say.

  Thank you. This problem happened when I went Premium and created a new site without the WordPress part and had someone from WordPress kindly help me transfer that domain to my old messageinstanza.wordpress.com site. So now it’s messageinstanza.com as I like. But then that’s when I noticed these problems you are mentioning.

  Also weirdly enough, if you to switch my sites there is an extra com. It reads: messageinstanzacom.wordpress.com. Is this a part of the problem? I am just curious. Thanks for your help. 😀
