>1 mailchimp subscription list
-
I connected WP to Mailchimp, but when I do that I have to select a subscriber list that seems to apply globally (using the Mailchimp block).
We have a couple different lists we want to use in different places (patrons vs. members). Is there a way to specify which list with the block?
And while I’m here, does WP have a similar email list capability as Mailchimp? (haven’t looked) If so, any good pointers & what are the limitations w/ various WP plans (free now, but signing up for premium soon).
Thanks,
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
It is a current limitation of the built-in Mailchimp integration that you can select only one list that applies to the entire site (all Mailchimp blocks) and there is not a way to set lists on a per-block basis.
However, you can upgrade to our Business Plan, which will allow you to use Mailchimp’s native embed codes for customizable signup forms and/or pop-up forms: https://mailchimp.com/help/add-a-signup-form-to-your-website/

We do not offer similar functionality, so for the most flexibility with adding custom integrations we recommend the Business Plan (as mentioned above) which will allow you to upload any plugin or theme “designed for WordPress” and extend the functionality of your site as far as you wish.
We do offer a native blog subscription service but it is simplified and does not take the place of a true email marketing platform. More info here: https://wordpress.com/support/subscriptions-and-newsletters/
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
