1. My static website has 2 "home" buttons how can I remove one of them?

  How can I remove on and which one is the correct one to remove?

  This is happening because by default your blog theme includes a link to your “home” in your navigation, and you’ve, in addition, created a page called home – and pages are automatically included in your navigation.

  To solve this problem you can create your own Custom Menu from Appearance > Menus in your dashboard, and link to the pages you wish to link to. Here is the support page.
