10 weeks later my blog still isn’t showing in a google search

Hey there.
What is your site url?
Also, WordPress.com automatically sends notifications to Google with every post and page update. The search engines can take 4-6 weeks or more to add any new sites. While not necessary to be included in Google’s index, connecting your site to Google’s Search Console can help Google include your site more quickly.
You can find more information here https://wordpress.com/support/seo/
Hope this helps

Thank you for replying. I have set the privacy settings correctly. That was the first thing I checked a while back. :

I don’t understand why google does not show my site when searched. Even i type matthewtilleybaritone it does not come up as any of the listings on google. My last wordpress account did straight away

A support staff can look into your account further.
In the mean time, I would suggest connecting your site to Google Search Console to verify your site. It may help speed up the indexing.

When I type matthewtilleybaritone into Google the third result is:
Matthew Tilley – wordpress.com › biography
No information is available for this page.
Learn whyYour site appears to only have one post (under the heading “teaching”) and a few static pages. Google does prefer to index sites with regularly changing content/new posts. WordPress.com pushes your new content to search engines every time you publish something.

The site that you have found (matthewtilley.wordpress.com) is not the website I am talking about. That is my old wordpress page that i deactivated before creating this new one before christmas.
the new website is matthewtilleybaritone.wordpress.com
and for some reason does not show up at all
