  purchased my website name for 10 years what should I do if I want to use it with word press?

  Hi gletsitty,

  It sounds like you purchased a domain name from another company (maybe GoDaddy, 1&1, Bluehost, etc), and use it to link to your WordPress.com site.

  If that’s the case, here is an excerpt from a support document I found on this topic:

  To map a domain, you’ll need:

  An upgraded WordPress.com plan on your site (such as a Personal, Premium or Business plan, etc.)
  To add a mapping subscription to your site
  To update the name servers for the domain so they point to WordPress.com.
