$13 is the charge for mapping an existing domain. To address any and all billing issues like this one we can click https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ and we can also use this form (which works even when the main contact form is closed): http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?whywasi=charged
Note: Automattic Inc. https://automattic.com/ owns WordPress.com and other products too likes Akismet and VaultPress, etc. so this could be a charge related to one of them. It’s important to know that each charge is sent to a the registered email address for each username account so if you have more than one username account that could be confusing you.

It looks like you canceled your WordPress.com Business upgrade but still wanted to use learnhow2learn.com with your WordPress.com site.
The $13 charge is the cost of Domain Mapping. Domain Mapping is the upgrade that allows you to use a domain registered elsewhere with your WordPress.com site.
I can refund the $13 charge, but you will no longer be able to use learnhow2learn.com with http://learnhow2learndotcom.wordpress.com/
Please let me know what you would like to do.

FINE! Sorry about the delay. I keep forgetting to look HERE for emails since I mainly use (email visible only to moderators and staff) REFUND the $13. I can still use learnhow2learn.com with verio till new students pick up the ball, THEN go back and use it at wordpress AS my url IF that’s what we decide. The mapping idea doesn’t work for me. IF you can send me a link to explain how it works, other than referring viewers to yet ANOTHER website of mine–who wants to juggle websites?–‘twould be apreciated.

The reason that learnhow2learn.com is not pointing to your WordPress.com site is that the nameservers are not set to WordPress.com yet.

In the future, should you set up domain mapping again, please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

Thank you, BUT … I’m STILL confused because it SEEMED like domain “mapping” is using another website AT your website, whereas you SEEM to be saying now that domain mapping is just transferring the use of a domain name like learnhow2learn.com to another server, like from verio to you. Is THAT correct? I’ll try the link, but suspect that explains HOW to do it, not WHAT I’m doing.
