14 Day Trial
-
It was my understanding that the trial basis would not be charged until the expiration of the 14 days. Perhaps I misunderstood. I have not yet decided if I would like to keep the blog, and I have already been charged the full $299. I expected to experiment and see if I liked this site before committing and being charged.
Please advise.
Thank you.

Hello there,
From Details and Terms:You can try any participating upgrade for a 14-day trial period, at no charge.
You will be asked to provide payment information when starting the trial, but you will not be charged until the 14-day trial period is up. If you cancel before the period is up, you will not be charged at all.
We will send you an email reminder one day before you will be charged.
You can cancel trial upgrades under Store → My Upgrades in your dashboard at any time.To do that you must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard to access Store → My Upgrades and Store → Billing History.
You can confirm your billing history at > Dashboard > Store > Billing History and that’s where the transaction numbers are found.

It does look like you were charged. I’m not sure how that happened, but I can fix it.
If you would like, I can refund the payment and cancel WordPress.com Business. And then you can start at the beginning again and try signing up for the trial once more. Or you are welcome just to use the Business upgrade for a week or two and then post here requesting a refund if you find that it is not what you are looking for.
Let me know.

You can leave it and I will let you know at the end of the 14 days if I want to keep it. I was just surprised that I had been charged when it said that I would not be.
I do not have access to ecommerce and the premium themes are not free. Do I even have the business package?
Thank you. -
Actually, rootjosh, if you would, please, go ahead and cancel that account. I think it would be more in line with my needs if I start with a basic account and upgrade to a premium later, when I am ready to go full out. I am not ready for all the bells and whistles just yet, so I would prefer to restart.
Thank you for your assistance. -
Not a problem.
I have processed that refund for you. Please be aware that it can take up to 7-10 business days for refunds to show up on your statement.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you. And again, my apologies for getting charged when you should not have been.
